Bacchette & Forchette is back at Fantastic Garden in Sesto Fiorentino, just outside Florence. On Friday 16 October, from 7.30 pm, Tuscan and Chinese cooking share one buffet again: €26.00 per person, with a drink card for your first drink.
The fusion buffet dinner near Florence
There are two full buffets, one for each kitchen: crostini, panzanella, pecorino cheeses and peposo, the Tuscan peppered beef stew, on one; hand made spring rolls, steamed dumplings, Gong Bao chicken and sweet and sour pork on the other.
In between is the fusion buffet, with dishes that bring the two together: a bao bun filled with crisp lampredotto, the Florentine street food, with salsa verde; a dumpling filled with cinta senese pork; peposo glazed with soy and star anise. They are five dishes signed by chef Gaetano Micera.
For grilled meat and pizza, All You Can Steak is here in the villa grounds; for Chinese food in Florence, there is GiaoGiao.
